Jaden Sheilan’s second field goal of the game was a chip shot with 20 seconds remaining that gave the Langley Rams a thrilling 20-18 victory over the Okanagan Sun and silenced the large crowd of Sun supporters assembled at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna on Saturday night.
Jacob Firlotte brought the small but loud gathering of Rams supporters to their feet with an 82-yard punt return touchdown and Quarterback Duncan Little hit Jevon Cottoy with an 18-yard touchdown pass to give Langley a 17-2 lead at the break.

Duncan Little completed 12 of his 25 pass attempts for 170 yards with 1 interception, his favorite targets were Jevon Cottoy with 4 catches for 44 yards and his 7th touchdown of the season, and Nick Agnoletto, who caught caught 4 balls for 47 yards.
Sun runners could only muster a total of 46 yards rushing versus a tough Rams defense, one that gets tougher every game, while Rams running backs faired a little better with a total of 76 yards on the ground, 44 of those came from Max Joseph on 12 carries.
Leading the way defensively for the Rams were Partap Sandhu with 7 tackles and a fumble recovery, Nathan Murray four tackles and an interception, Baltej Dhanoya had four tackles and a blocked kick and JP Kalambay recorded a quarterback sack.
