Thank-you for Supporting the young men of the Langley Rams Junior Football Club
The Langley Rams are proud to introduce former Canadian Junior Football League star and 2011 Grey Cup Champion JR LaRose as Guest Speaker for this great event.
JR LaRose is a proud member of One Arrow First Nation, he is an ambassador for Aboriginal peoples and an accomplished speaker, speaking and facilitating over 400 presentations throughout Canada and the United States since 2008.
LaRose has been recognized and honoured by the CFL and the BC Lions as a community leader, he was the recipient of the Lions Jamie Taras award of Community Service for four straight years and was nominated for the Canadian Football League’s Tom Pate award four times, which honors the player who demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship, contribution to his team, contribution to his community, and contribution to his association.
JR is a spokesperson for the Lions “Be More Than A Bystander” campaign, which brings awareness to and and educates youth on the issue of violence against women and hopes to continue to contribute to his team and his community as he endeavors on new ventures; always striving, always achieving.
LaRose has an amazing and motivating life story to tell, a story that the written word cannot begin to tell with the heart and passion that JR himself can orate, this is truly an in person must see, and must hear, story.
