Quarterback Duncan Little completed 19 of 30 attempts for 328 yards, threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran one in himself in a 27-10 home victory over the VI Raiders on Saturday.
Little’s favorite targets were Jevon Cottoy, who caught five passes for 103 yards, including a spectacular 44 yard catch and run touchdown, Liam Stewart with six catches for 113 yards and a touchdown and Nick Agnoletto, who hauled in four passes for 71 yards, carried the ball twice for 13 yards and had 91 punt/kick return yards for a total of 175 multi purpose yards.
Little’s 328 passing yards gives him five 300 plus yard outings and two that came up just shy of the 300 mark in nine games played to date, his total passing yards for the season is 2,363 with 16 touchdowns thrown.
The Rams rushed for a total of 148 yards on the day, leading the way was Joseph Carter, who pounded out 59 yards on 13 carries.
The Rams defensive unit had another solid outing, Marvin Pope’s squad did not give up an offensive touchdown and recorded five sacks on the day, Skye King, Anthony Blackwell, Cameron Cross with one each and big number 99, Charles Nwoye, with a pair. Dawson Marchant, Brendan Kohls and Nathan Murray each recorded interceptions for the Rams, who clinched their 29th consecutive playoff berth with the win.
