The Langely Rams were at Nanaimo’s Caledonia Park on Saturday afternoon and jumped out to a 17-0 lead, were up 24-7 at the half and 34-7 early in the fourth quarter but Head Coach Matt Blokker may have called off the dogs too soon as the VI Raiders rallied with 28 unanswered points in the final 13 minutes to complete one of the greatest comebacks in BCFC history, the go ahead touchdown came with 40 seconds remaining in the game for a 35-34 victory. Scoring touchdowns for the Rams were Duncan Little, Nick Agnoletto and Jevon Cottoy with two, Matias Bueno rounded out the Rams scoring with a pair of field goals and four converts.
The Rams return to McLeod Athletic Park Stadium next Saturday, Aug 25, when they host the Okanagan Sun, kickoff is 7:00 PM.

The Langley Rams jumped on the Trans Canada Highway Saturday and headed for Chilliwack’s Exhibition Stadium, where they took on the upstart Valley Huskers and rode home with a 42-9 victory over the eastern Fraser Valley squad.
The Rams went into the game not quite knowing what to expect from the Huskers, who defeated the defending champion VI Raiders in week one, that win earned the Huskers some respect from around the BCFC and with that respect came a prepared Rams team that were not taking the Huskers as lightly as teams may have in past years. The CJFL contest between the Langley Rams and the Westshore Rebels lived up to it’s billing as an intense and entertaining affair and the Langford squad sailed home with a 19-16 victory.
