The Langley Rams remained undefeated and improved to 4-0 on the season with a 40-30 victory over the Westshore Rebels today.
Andrew Pocrnic was a workhorse for the Rams, carrying the ball 26 times for 158 yards and 1 touchdown.
Duncan Little built up a comfortable lead before taking a seat and completed 9 of his 17 pass attempts for 144 yards and a pair of touchdowns in just over a half of play, Tristan Secord-Yanciw completed 3 of 6 attempts for 64 yards and a touchdown in relief.
Jarryd Taylor led all receivers with 4 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown, Liam Stewart and Khalik Johnson were also on the receiving end of touchdown passes.
The Rams defense continued it’s stingy play versus the run, yielding only 12 yards rushing to the Rebels for the game, Colton Dejong led the way with 4 tackles and 3 quarterback sacks, Ryan Barthelson recorded a blocked kick and Michael Baerg an interception.
The Rams have a bye week and then return to action on Sunday September 8, when they head up the Coquihalla to the Apple Bowl for a 1PM game versus the Okanagan Sun.
